Legal Question in Technology Law in Virginia
I performed a design service for a client. Several of our email communications clarify the nature of our agreement, and in one she said, "If you will just let me know what I owe for the work you have done so far, I will happily pay you." But she never did. Can I use our emails as evidence in a small claims hearing to show that she promised to pay my fee?
