Legal Question in Technology Law in Virginia

Can you get a word for word record of text messages from a phone company?

My wife has recently passed. I have proof that she was unfaithful. Some circumstances about how she died were not cleared up.You might say then the law should get involved. But there really is no proof of any of that just some of my own suspicions. My name is not on the account which is T-Mobile. Aside from why or what it would prove after the fact I want to know under what cicumstances could someone legally subpena those records.

Based upon what you you've stated, I know of no basis to subpoena such records since such subpoena would have to be based upon a valid court action, currently pending in some matter legtimately before a court of law.

And I would doubt very much that you(or very likely anyone else) would have a basis for initiating such a court action.
