Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Virginia

arrest

I live in Tennessee. Virginia issued a warrant for and I was arreste in Tennesse. I have asked in vain for a copy of the return paperwork in Virginia. It doesn't exist. Tennesseee states they don't have a copy and that the arrest essentially ''...did not happen.'' I was told last week by the Virginia district court that no paper work exits regarding a executed warrant and that it is stil outstanding and that I could technically be re-arreseted. I am representing my self pro se. What motion can I file with both Courts to straighten this out?

Re: arrest

Your first mistake is attempting to represent yourself(prose se)in a criminal matter of unknown complexity involving two jurisdictions.

You should hire (or request the Tennesse court to appoint if you can't afford to hire)a competent criminal defense counsel to file the appropriate motion(s) to have the matter dismissed in Tennesse.

(The matter in Virginia can then be addressed

if the Commonwealth continues to carry the warrant as outstanding in its database.)
