The United States Supreme Court's Rules, I am confident to say, contain nothing in regard to slander(notwithstanding the fact that certain unnamed justices continue to remain on the bench).

The U.S. Supreme Court Rules are procedural requirements lawyers must follow when practicing in that court. Slander (which is a type of defamation) is an issue of substantive law, not of procedure. What's more, it is almost always an issue of state law. The USSC generally is only concerned with issues if federal law.
