Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Virginia
Employment Random Drug Testing
I am a tattoo artist who works as a subcontractor for a tattoo shop. THe only type of contract I have with them is a non-compete contract. Can they all-of-a-sudden decide to conduct random drug screenings on us tattoo artists since we are subcontractors? Does this violate my right in any which way, shape or form?

Re: Employment Random Drug Testing
I would very much doubt that if your contract is only for noncompete issues, that the tattoo shop would have any right to require that you submit to drug testing as an independent subcontractor.
You should, of course, refuse to go along with any such drug screening requests.
