Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Virginia
My mother lives in section 8 low income housing in va. From what I read in her leasing agreement, it states that she is subject to random inspections and police searches with a K9-dog for possible drugs in the residence. Is this search in the home illegal? Especially without a probably cause or warrant?

Probably not, as long as such inspections are in the leasing agreement
which your mother by signing has effectively agreed to.
