Two police officers on foot are patrolling a heavily known drug trafficking area. The two officers see a group of 5 youths loitering around. The officers approach the youth and they take off running. One of the youths trips and falls and he drops a bag full of cocaine and an address. Can the officers use the address to search the house on the paper?

Re: Searches
Good question, but I believe that under current 4th Amendment law, that if presented to a duly authorized magistrate in the form of a sworn affidavit, this piece of paper with the address and information as to the circumstances attendant to its discovery would be sufficient for the magistrate to approve a valid warrant for the police to search the premises located at that particular address indicated on the piece of paper that was dropped by one of the fleeing (felons?).
