Can a state recall its United States Senators and if so what is required and under what circumstances?

Article 1, Section 111 of the U.S. Constitutions specifies: "The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all impeachments" (whether the president or a senator), and there is no provision either in this Article nor in Amendment XV11(election of senators) which allows states to recall their previously elected senators under these referenced parts of the Constitution.
