in a Temporary Detention Order, after your hearing to be committed into a mental/rehab facility and you went voluntarily, are your gun rights taken away?

Yes, shortly after the Virginia Tech massacre of some 30 persons a few years ago, I believe that Virginia law was changed to prohibit persons subject to such an order from legally purchasing firearms.
