Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Virginia
I have a trespassing charge against me . Can l still own a handgun ? I live in Virginia.

Trespassing by itself and not coupled with a domestic violence charge is normally considered a misdemeanor offense and therefore even if you were convicted of such that should not bar you either under state and/or federal law from owning nor possessing whatever firearm you may want to have.
