Legal Question in Construction Law in Virginia

Contractor default

It has been two year that this contractor left town without paying the money that he owes me. Is there anything can do to locate this contractor and maybe recoup my money that he owes me.

If your own resources (including the many "people locator" sites on the Internet) have proven unavailing in locating this rapscallion, then consider hiring a PI to locate him if the amount involved could justify such expenditure.

You might also wish to check with the Virginia state agency which issues licenses to contractors to determine whether it has any updated information as to his current whereabouts.
