Contractor made false promises. Did not finish work and does not show up

We hired a contractor that does not show up on work site at all. He has not finished work by the time agreed to in the contract. He makes false promises over SMS text and does not execute. He has be all talk but no work. We have paid him almost 50% of the money and now want to ask him to return our money since the project finish date has passed and more over he has not showed up for the past 3 weeks.

Need help in writing that letter to him asking him to refund our money.

Well, you could retain the services of an attorney to write such a letter if you feel that you cannot adequately do it yourself.
