Contractor's contract

does the contract i sign with a remodleing company, have to have their contractors lincens number on it to be a binding contract?

No, I would doubt it, and why should that be necessary for a binding contract? You should, nevertheless, certainly check to ensure that the company is in fact properly licensed before signing any papers.
