Legal Question in Construction Law in Virginia
Finished basement
Our contractor is refusing to finish the final 2 parts of our basement. It's not worth our time and money to sue him, but I would like to make it known that he did not abide by his contract. I have contacted the BBB. The guy lives in our neighborhood. What can I do legally to get the word out that we are very dissatisfied with his broken promises and hopefully discourage other neighbors from using his services?

Probably, not much else without risking a defamation suit.
