Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I'm 19 and just signed (this afternoon) a contract to finance a vehicle with J.D. Byrider. I was clearly informed that there were no "Buyer Remorse" policies in place, but I was wondering, if there is ANY way to get out of my contract? $24,000 for a 2003 Chrysler is beyond insane. Also, I had no insurance driving off the lot. Are they allowed to do this? Will that fact help me void the contract?

You need to see an experienced consumer rights attorney and bring your documents asap. Also, you should check CARFAX and the DMV title history. No, insurance is not likely an issue. But you may have claims for fraud, violations of the VCPA, Truth in Lending Act, Odometer Act, etc. Good luck.
"Beyond insane", you claim, but, perhaps, not, sent you went for this deal,
and it would be my legal assessment that you're probably stuck with it (unless,
of course, you can prove fraud by the standard known as clear and convincing evidence).
And, as for your driving off the car lot with no insurance, it
was your responsibility to see that the vehicle was properly insured
and not the dealer's.
