Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Adopted cat from rescue shelter that made me sign a contract stipulating that the cat could not be declawed and if it was declawed they could come to my residence and take the cat and "fine" me 500 Dollars. Can they do that without due process or enforce any of the contract?

Hard to say without reviewing the contract, but the shelter would likely have to take the matter before the court as a breach of contract issue on your part before attempting to enforce it against you.
