Airline Tickets

My husband recently lost his job. We've been told (even though we paid $200 for travel insurance) that we cannot be refunded for 4 tickets purchased to Brussels @ $3800. Can we sell them on Craigslist?? I can't bear the thought of eating $4K in the middle of a recession, when we are going to need this money more than ever.

Yes, you may be able to sell them to third parties(on Craigslist or wherever)as long as the fine print on the tickets does not restrict nor prohibit such transfers.
