I applied for an auto loan online at one dealership and another dealer ship contacted me. i sent them my pay stub any info the asked me for i gave.

i picked out a suv. the sales rep took me thru the financing and we signed all the documents as well as i gave them the deposit ..we went thru the process of calling my insurance company and getting the vehicle insured and and putting the deposit down , they even put 48 hr dealer tags and then that monday put on 30 day tags. i drove off the lot. the next day i told the sales rep that the a/c was not blowing well. he told me to make a appointment with the service dept which i did and took the car in the next morning.. as the day went on the had found that the compressor had gane in the vehicle and had to fix it. then 10 mins later i recieved a call from the sales person saying that my loan did not go thru they need to keep the car is this legal. can they take my car. after i sign all the paper work
