Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I have an auto loan with citifinancial auto. They have been switching my due dates every month on my car for the past 3 months. I asked them what's going on and they don't know. But they still want me to pay a late fee and penalties/interest. They customer service representatives are over seas and they do not speak very good English. So they can't understand me and I don't understand them. It's like they are reading off a script. Everytime I ask to speak with a manager they tell there's none available. What can I do to resolve this issue. This company is getting away with fraud by changing my due date every month and charging me extra fees. Can I sue them? I would love to know.
Thanks

Sue them? Of course, you could; however, to win, probably not. Your best course of action very likely would be to refinance the car if at all possible with a U.S. based company whose employees can speak understandable English and may even treat you fairly.
