auto payoff

We paid our auto off with Chrysler and the check cleared on July 14th. However Chrysler dosn't know where it put the funds and refuses to send us the title or the refund of over payment. We had to pay another payment for July. They keep saying ''give us a few days to find where the money went'' but never do, and our Aug payment is just about due.

Give them 30-60 days to find your payoff funds. If they still have not located the funds by then and have not processed the payoff and returned you clear title, then you should have accrued enough overpayments by then to sue them in small claims court and give added impetus to their efforts to resolve this problem.
