Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
A certain bank charges me $200 a month as a minimum payment for an account. I pay $250 a month to the account. The extra $50 a month that I send in is not being applied to the principal but to the interest. Is this legal?

You should direct them to apply to principal and put that language on the payment and consult an attorney if you are still having problems.
