Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
bought a car and the guy said he had owned it for 3 years asked if it had been in any accidents he said 1 but only a little damage on side so we bought the car after we got home found out the title was salvaged now the bank won't honor the loan to him and we have put extra money in to the car do we have any recourse or do we just give him back the car and we are out the money we put into it also found out he hadn't owned it but 6 months.

Tell him you're returning the vehicle for the reasons you've alluded to and
consequently you're demanding reasonable compensation for the money you've
already put into this vehicle. And, if he refuses, then sue him for fraud and
misrepresentation and whatever other applicable torts you can tack on to your warrant or complaint in the appropriate Virginia court.
