Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

I bought furniture three purchases in a week at no finance charges for year. They sent me a bill with balance the whole year. When the offer was up they started mailing my bill making me pay four differnt finance charges on three different purchases. My finance charges are 104 dollars a month. Shouldn't they have been sending me seperate bills for these purchases if they were going to charge me seperate finance charges? It was very misleading i had know idea they would do this. I had purchased things for my son for college and added few peices i forgot with in the week.

Yes, I agree, seems quite misleading, however, if the (exorbitant?)interest charged for each of the three separate purchases is sufficiently

delineated on the one bill, they can probably get away with it (putting

it all on one bill) without incurring violations of various

state and federal consumer protection acts.
