Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
can the car dealer back out?
While making the final deal to trade in my car for a 4X4 a salesman hit my car with a co. demo he was driving. My salesman told me not to worry about it, it was their dent now and the dealorship was spotting my loan. Went to finacing at 11:30pm and drove off in my 4X4. 2 days later the salesman calls to say they cannot secure financing for me alone. I needed a co-signer or turn in my new car for my old car. This dealorship advertises they own the bank and if they can't get you approved they will pay $1000.00 help ASAP I really like my new ride.

Re: can the car dealer back out?
yes, but if they do so, they'll be civilly liable to you for damages if you sue them for violation of the virginia consumer protection act.
