Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
My Car ''The Lemon''
First of all thank you for responding to my question. But I feel that there is more wrong with my car than just the fuel pump Now I was told by my machanic that it is the water pump. I am thinking about either going by the place or calling them about the problems that I am facing. I am also considering if they would allow me to trade it back in for either the same year or a year higher. My instincts do not fail me about this 1990 Ford Taurus. Do you think they would allopw me to do that or will I have to go to another car place to trade it in. I still owe $2995.09 on the car? Any suggestion I am open to hear my options. Thanks
PS Smith's Auto Car and Truck Sales, Inc, South Hill,VA is where I purchased the car. When I told them about the minor problems the owner of Smith's Auto did not even come to see who I was. He communicated with me from the other room. It was I then who got up to go where he was. I thought that a Dealer is suppose to please his customers or at least I thought so.

Re: My Car ''The Lemon''
You, Sir, apparently are now seeking the remedy of damages for this "Stegassorian" auto remnant of a bygone automotive age, i.e., Anno Domini 1990, and purchased presumably with the eidetic warranty intaglio of
"AS IS".
If such be the case, then, unfortunately, unless you have very specific warranty coverage for the alleged defects and failings of this particular elderly auto covered under this yet to be identified warranty, my advice would be: Better suck it up and move on.
Unless somehow you were the victim of
provable fraud in your purchase of this vehicle, I would now adjudge you to be without a viable remedy.
