I am new in this music industry and I am trying to take rights over my original music, songs and beats. I need someone to steel me in the right directions or the first step I need to take in securing my work.

Probably, most likely by securing copyright protection for these works
which may be claimed as soon as they become "fixed in form"(in effect created).
The website of the USPTO (U.S. Patent and Trademark Office) has further information on copyrighting original works of authorship.
