Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

I have cosign a automobile for my son. He have made 6 late payments and its effecting my credit score. Can i take him to court and get a court order so i can have possession of the automobile and i will make the car payment.I dont want my credit score to continue to be damage due to him not making his car payments on time. thank you!

No, this is not the type of matter which most courts are

likely to want to involve themselves with (in my opinion), and therefore it would be best for you to most likely arrange to

buy out the interest of your son in this vehicle (with

the approval of the lender), making you the sole owner

of it and soley responsible for making all payments.
