Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

defective mattress

I purchased a high priced mattress set made by park place, that failed after two weeks. the mattress was replaced with the same mattress, which also failed in the same length of time. during the exchange of the first mattress the relationship between me and the retailer became stale, do to the fact I was charge a $ 40.00 dollar delivery charge for a mattress I had only two weeks. My thought is a good business would have wavied the charge. the retailer threaten to charge me with harrassment for confronting her with this. Since the second mattress failed I just want my money back. The retailer refused to give my money back. I took it to same claims. I proved the mattress was defective as ordered by the judge, then the judge was handed a folded paper from the defendant and the judge turn crazy towards me for no reason and ruled for the defendant with no explaination what so ever and scarried out of the court room. my question is why do I have to keep a defective product that is causing my body harm and why do I have to keep getting other defective mattress from these shady people? Also how could the judge rule against me when I provedmy case as instructed. I am appealing.

Re: defective mattress

You should really know what was on the document handed to the judge. It's very unusal for the judge to not demand that the other side show it to you first. Maybe you should appeal.
