Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Disclosure of Fees
I am being charged a tank rental fee for a propane tank. The company says that if propane is not ordered, then this fee is accessed. This fee was never disclosed to me at any time until now. If it had been, I would have asked them to remove the tank much sooner. Can I dispute the fee?

Re: Disclosure of Fees
You should carefully scrutinize the terms of your rental agreement to determine what it says (if anything)about this issue before making written demand for a refund or filing a case in small claims court.
