engagement ring
the stone was set by mistake by the jeweler to a more expensive setting - than what was agreed on. what is the recourse on this matter - are we liable to pay the difference if we decide not to reset the stone since it was already given the recepient. thank you.

You could return the stone for the setting that was originally agreed to
or ignore the jewler's requests for increased payment and let them sue.
