Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
expensive jewelry
As long as the customer does not give the owner of the jewelry store permission to take over ownership of the jewelry due to jewelry being in store longer than planned due to customer's lack of funds to pay last $300 off in a timely manner (due to medical hospitalizations and loss of wages). My jeweler says he does not know what has happened to ring.

Re: expensive jewelry
Well, if the jeweler-custodian of this ring does not know what happened to this piece of jewelry while it was in his care and custody and in which you had apparently purchased a substantial interest, then he should offer you a full refund in what you had paid or a proportional credit on a different piece of jewelry.
If the jewelry refuses to do either, then your next stop should be the clerk's office of your local small claims court.
