Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I had a garnishment judgment against me back in 2007 ,on my bank account I was never served, and since then the actual creditor has removed the collection from my credit report but the judgment still remains. I researched the judgment on the courts public records and it states that the judgment for garnishment was dismissed due to lack of funds. can I get it removed from my credit report?

Yes, you could write the credit reporting agency which is still carrying
the record of the judgment and ask that it now be removed for the reason cited
in the public court records.
