harrassed and threatened in a store

was cursed at and threatened in big store in front of my 3 small kids store manager did nothing it has happened more than once by the same people they are using cuss words pointing 1/2 inch with there finger in faces calling obscene names yet this store does not care even though the police have been called the store does nothing if they have threatened to beat mine and my husbands a** soo loud the half the store can hear them should there not be some legal responsibility for mine and my childrens safety when they know this is repetitive or is my only option to stop shopping there can they be held responsible.
