Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

Home owners Association fees

I didn't pay the home owners association fees in 2008. This was because my daughter had a life threatning hospitalization that casued me to spend $ 25,000 in medical expenses. I decided to spend the money I had on my daughter's life instead of the home owners association. I needed every dime. In the mean time, I was getting threatning letters to go to court and eventually we went to court. The judeg ruled correctly for the plaintif and asked the plaintiff to work with me for a payment plan. Upon receipt of the details of the $$'s. I find out that the plaintiff's lawyer reported the account to credit agencies. To say the least, I was very unhappy about this. Is there anything I can do to have the plaintiff's lawyer remove or clear the report to the agency once I pay the full amount? I intend to pay but I don't like the fact that they reported the case.

Re: Home owners Association fees

Probably not, but you can submit your version of the facts in a written statement to each of the three major credit reporting agencies not exceeding 250 words.
