Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
A kitchen remodeling company is installing a new kitchen in my home. The problem is the cabinet colors are not matching. They claim this is a discontinued finish, and they had to put together pieces from several runs from the cabinet manufacturer, and that the pieces didn't always match. They are not finished installing yet, but I dont know whether to tell them to stop or continue. I paid only for the cabinetry, and I used a credit card. What should I do?

If there is serious mismatching of these cabinet colors which was not part of your agreement with this remodeling company, then you probably have a valid basis to claim a material breach of the contract and to put the matter into dispute with your card issuer if the company refuses to install new cabinetry which meets your reasonable expectations under the contract.
