Legal Recourse for Poor Contracting Job
I hired a ''handyman'' to do some work around my house. A number of the jobs were done poorly. Do I have any legal recourse to get my money back or force the company to do the repairs correctly?

You may have recourse for either or. Talk to an attorney. There are several other attorneys who post here beside myself that would be happy to discuss this with you.
Re: Legal Recourse for Poor Contracting Job
If your claim(s) are worth less than $5000, you should be able to handle the matter yourself by suing this defaulting man who apparently was considerably less than handy--at least with respect to the job which he contracted to perform for you---in small claims court for around $40 and without the aid of an attorney.
