Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
How long do I have to return a used car that I bought in Virginia; I paid for the car in cash and I have siged all the paper work. I don't have the car in my home due to a safety light that comes on about tires pressure. The problem was fixed once by the dealer but when I was ready to bring the vehicle home the same light problem showed up and I had to leave the vehicle at the dealers. They kept my money. The vehicle has not yet left the dealers lot. Please answer me ASAP I am running out of time. Thank you.

You have no right to "return" this used vehicle under Virginia law once purchased nor to rescind the transaction unless specifically provided for in your purchase agreement.(Not too likely.)
I agree. Generally speaking, there is no "right of return" or "cooling off period."
You might consult an attorney about whether you can "revoke acceptance." You might also obtain a CARFAX and DMV title histories to see if you have any claims against the dealer.
Good luck.
