Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Mechanic trying to rip me off
Ok so i went to a local mechanic to get my windshield wiper fixed on my car, they told me all it needed was a bushing (sp) but that couldn't be ordered alone so they had to order a whole wiper arm assembly, so they ''fix it'' well it rains a few weeks later..and i have the same problem i had before (the whole wiper arm would fo OFF the window nearly hitting my mirror). So the next day i took it by there and told them they said they would fix it that afternoon free of charge, i come back they said they had to get a clamp or something to bring it back at 9 am and itd be done w/i 30 min. So i took it there the next morning come back at 11 to pick it up ''he had to go get the part he will be back in 30 min'' come back a hour later ''he had to order a bushing it wont arrive untill 3'' so i just took my car home...then realized...they told me they couldnt order a bushing the first time (which was like $7 compared to the 95 i had to pay for the whole assembly thing). so i took it back to be fixed AGAIN when i got home that day, well i pick it up they said it was straight...next day it rains i have the SAME problem. so needless to say I'm tired of it if they refuse to give me my money back is there any legal action i can take?
