Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I have been trying to modify my mortgage and had taken the traditional route of speaking to the lender directly, to no avail. I am working with a third party vendor now. HOWEVER, for the last few months, a company hired by the lender has been leaving "confidential" notices on my front door. These notices are far from confidential, and they are wide open for anyone coming to my door to see, which happened today. What are my options in pursuing this tactic against the mortgage company, who, by the way, has been receiving regular communication from me from inception? It appears to be a violation of privacy. Thank you.

So, send written notice to the lender to have whoever is leaving these notices in this manner to cease and desist from such activity.
