Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

Non disclosed incident on a new truck

I bought a new 2002 F250 Ford truck for $45,000 (w/100 miles) in December after the 2nd day I found major damage under the truck. My boy friend is an insurance appraiser and he felt the truck had been wrecked. I have 3 appraisels of $4500+ to fix it but it would still have a depreciation value. I have exhausted every option and nobody is claiming fought, Ford Company the dealship in Frederick, Delaware (where the truck came from), and Ford Credit. A depreciation expert looked at the truck and gave a depreciation value of $7800 and said the truck had the damage of a colision. Nobody wants to help and now I want more than just the truck damage reimbursed. Is this possible?

Re: Non disclosed incident on a new truck

What kind of warranty did the truck come with.(I

assume this kind of defect is probably not covered, but you should read it over very carefully to make sure.) If the dealer is unwilling to make a very substantial adjustment in the price you paid, you should then arrange to file a complaint with your local consumer affairs agency. If no satisfactory settlement comes from that, you should then consult with an attorney

about filing a claim in the general district court.
