Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I went online to enroll in an electronics school. I sent them $5.00 for the registration fee, they sent me papers to sign and wanted me to send them back, which I declined to do. I never filled out ANYTHING, except for using my CC to pay the $5.00 Registration fee and I never signed that either. I do not want to enroll in this school, Now they are saying that I owe them $400 for the school......am I liable? And without my SS# can they report me to the credit agency?

Continue to resist paying these apparent cyber-thieves anything (would be
my advice).
And, should a $400.00 charge from this predator outfit appear on your next credit card statement, put it in contest with your card issuer.
