Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
If you pay a bill by check, write paid in full on it, they cash it and now say you owe $51.00 more - do I have to pay them the extra money?

No, of course not, but that it no way means that you might not
be sued over the matter (although quite unlikely in my opinion).
