Problem with Compusa
I have a question regarding computer purchase and rebates from compusa.
I purchased computers from Compusa online when they have rebates. I paid by my check card. They sent me computers, I submitted the rebates. Then I changed my mind, return the computer to them. However, they still send me the rebate check and I didn't know why but I didn't care.
Next time, when they have rebate sales again, I bought another computer but then changed my mind after that and returned the computer. They still send me another rebate check. I still don't know but I thought that I am still legible for the rebate even though I returned the product and received a refund.
I want to find out if it is my fault that they sent me the rebate checks after I return the computer to them to receive a refund. I have no control of what they--name removed--on their side, I just--name removed--as a normal customer will--name removed-- I changed my mind, I don't like the product, I return.
Then on 08/10/07, I returned a computer but Never received a refund from them. I called compusa and asked why. They said because in the past, I returned the products but still received the rebate. They want me to give them the rebate checks back before they will give

Re: Problem with Compusa
So, until you receive a formal written demand for the return of the refunds which you received from the this now apparently moribund company, why worry about it?
