Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

Property Sold without Permission

Sometime ago I loaned a piece of landscaping equipment to someone and they never returned. I now found out they sold the equipment without notifying me. Is this a loss on my part or do I have legal grounds to pursue the money that was received for the sale of my equipment?

Provided the claim is not barred by the statute of limitations, you would have a claim for money damages (civil suit).
