Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
what protection is there against faulty service providers?
My vehicle was towed to a service facility, the bill incurred is $500 but the car is in the same condition. I am now told that it will require another $500 to correct the original issue. No proof of any service to the vehicle has been provided and the car is being held for payment and charged storage. What can be done to retrieve the vehicle without paying for services not provided?

File suit in the general district court for the
recovery of your property being uhjustly withheld
or detained.( Consider the possibility, however , that the towing and storage charges legitimately total around $500.)
