Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I purchased a car from a friend. I obtained a loan from my bank, and they sent a check directly to the x-friend. The x-friend has yet to transfer the registration to my name and now the bank is asking for proof that they are showing as the lien holder. What can I do?

Sue this former friend for the amount of the loan and any includable costs if s/he continues to refuse to transfer title of the vehicle to your name.
