Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I put a down payment on my truck on the 17th of last month from a dealer, but since then I have had to return it several time to get it fixed. I've driven it a total of maybe 10 days since getting it. Do I have to make a payment on it since I have not had it in my possession for the entire month?

You mean to ask, apparently, do you have a 30 day grace period to drive the
truck around and then return it before the expiration of this period because
in the interim you've had to bring it back to the dealer several times for repairs?
The answer must be, no, you do not unless somehow the dealer has provided
for such an option in your purchase agreement which I would find most
unlikely, and, yes, your are obligated to make the next payment that is due
on this truck not to mention all the other ones thereafter.
