Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Recently got a charge for underage drinking. 4 out of the 5 people who were there got introuble, all same charges. One girl who got a lawyer due to her being on her 2nd alcohol offence, she got off free. The lawyer said the cops violated the 4th admendment due to the cops not having a warrant. I was wondering even though I got charged, and I try to fight against it?

Depends upon whether a warrant was legally necessary for the officers to
search wherever they searched to find the alcohol or whether they had
what the law terms sufficient probable cause to search without one.
