Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
I recently purchased a motorcycle with a voided title. The person I bought it from never titled it in his name and claimed to not be aware of the void. Explaining to DMV was useless, the only solution they provided is to find the last titled owner and obtain a duplicate title. Is there anything else I can do to obtain a new title to recoop my losses or return the bike to the person I purchased it from?
Thank you.

That person could not sell the cycle. DMV won't help either. What are your losses? Why was it void or voided? I would recommend you consult an attorney about this situation and how best to deal with this, whether you can revoke acceptance, whether you have a case, etc.
If your purchase price for this cycle was less than $5K, sue this SOB(apparently fraudulent seller) in your local small claims court for the return of your purchase price + court costs.
