Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia
Restaurant Service
After waiting one hour and fifty minutes for our meal in a restaurant. We asked the waitress to cancel our order and bring the check for the appetizer. After a few minutes the manager came to the table and said you ordered it you will pay for it, what do you expect this is a holiday weekend.
So we paid by cash for what we ate. Was this illegal to leave?? Manager shouted it was and called the cops. We left.

Re: Restaurant Service
As long as you paid for what you actually consumed, you're in the clear. My only question would be as to why it took you so long to come to this eminently reasonable decision, i.e., to leave, paying only for what you'd eaten?
